How do we do it?
To help visualize the design and concept for your home, our Atlanta interior design takes the stress of the design and remodeling process off our client’s shoulders while effectively communicating and engaging the client along throughout the project.
1 Discovery Meeting
This is where we learn about your project needs and desires. At the initial consultation, we meet at your home to discuss the scope of work, ideas, budget, and timeline. Be prepared to share your design style, inspiration photos, or Pinterest board. This will help us get a better idea of your vision for your project. During this session, we will review our design questionnaire, the service agreement, and our design fee structure. This meeting takes between 1-2 hours depending on the size of your project.
Once you are ready to move forward with VRA Interiors, a signed service agreement and retainer/deposit are due. Then we schedule a date for Trade Day.
2 Trade Day
During this meeting, our designers will photograph, measure, and document all areas included in the scope of work. If a contractor is needed on the project, he will meet with us during these site visits to review the project scope. We will schedule these site visits at your convenience.
3 The Design
This is where inspiration turns into reality. Extracting ideas from your story, we create a complete design concept and source the proposed materials that fit your project: paint options, flooring, countertops, tile, lighting, plumbing fixtures, fabrics, furniture, and finishes. At this time, we will be working with different trades to gather all pricing and samples. More trade visits may be needed depending on the scope of work.
Once all samples and quotes are received, we will schedule the concept design presentation. The presentation will include a floor plan, drawings, renderings, samples, furniture selection, materials, and proposals. The proposed design is a working design so changes may be made after the presentation.
4 The Order
When you have approved the design and selections, the ordering process will begin. Furniture payment will be required before order entry. Furniture procurement may take several weeks. Throughout this process, we will keep you informed about any changes with the schedule so you always know what to expect. Once items are delivered, our receiving warehouse will inspect all items, checking for quality and any damage that may have been incurred during transit.
5 The Results
This is a turnkey experience and may take anywhere between 1-5 days depending on the size of your project. We will install all products, furniture, art, and accessories. Our delivery service is of the highest quality taking the necessary steps to ensure the product is installed seamlessly. We project manage the crews and material suppliers on-site to make sure the quality of the work is being met.
